AAA (10 mg/kg; orally; dissolved in water; once daily for 12 days) alleviated and reversed the development of angiotensin II-dependent malignant hypertension in Cyp1a1-Ren-2 transgenic rats, reduced associated kidney and heart damage, and inhibited elevated renal angiotensin II levels and plasma angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) activity [1]. AAA (10 mg/kg; orally; dissolved in water; once daily for 3 days) rapidly restored impaired renal hemodynamics and vascular reactivity in Cyp1a1-Ren-2 transgenic rats diagnosed with malignant hypertension [1].
