Introduction
FDA-approved drug library consists of 2060 approved medications as well as APIs (active pharmaceutical ingredients) from pharmacopoeia. It can be used for high throughput screening (HTS) and high content screening (HCS). All compounds in the library are from pharmacopoeia like USP, CP, BP, EP, JP, etc. or from authorized organizations such as the US FDA, EMA, HMA, CFDA, and PMDA. The safety and bioactivity of the compounds have been verified either in vivo or in vitro. Thus, it may be utilized for identification of novel targets and/or new uses for old medications.
Product Details
1. Form: A collection of 2060 marketed drugs in solid powder form or in pre-dissolved solutions.
2. Plate Layout:
96-well sample storage tube or 96-well plate with 1st and 12th column emptied.
384-well plate with the first 2 columns and the last 2 columns emptied.
3. Packaging & Container: 96- or 384-well plates sealed with peelable foil; 96-well format sample storage tube with screw cap.
4. Storage & Stability: store at -80°C for long term (1-2 years) and -20°C for short term (<1 year)
5. Shipping Condition: Blue ice for solutions; RT for solid powder form; or blue ice upon request.
Compound Library Composition
FDA-approved drug library is composed of 2060 compounds covering a wide range of pharmacological targets and therapeutic applications such as cancer, immunology, inflammation, neurodegenerative diseases etc. The FDA-approved drug library can be used for identification of new action mechanisms, as well as in vitro and in vivo drug repurposing/repositioning studies.
